Hard to resist the "sucked in!" dad joke/pun in response to that :-) We Aussies always seem to have a possum story, and also a huntsman spider story.Nature Scribehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12727570990616097487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5268236451961589916.post-55003020130611282282013-04-07T19:02:42.376+10:002013-04-07T19:02:42.376+10:00Peter, good tale. There was something making the tent vibrate, and I then realised there was something snuffling near my hip along the side of the tent. I tapped it (I think it was a tap...) and it stopped for a short while but returned. After several goes, I turned a light on, to discover that I had very stupidly popped a couple of squares of foil-wrapped chocolate into the mesh pocket in the side of the tent "for later". A possum had located it and was sucking the chocolate through the tent-inner material. It had done quite a good job, and I had chocolate attached to the side of the tent with possum saliva. To get some sleep I had to detach it, dispose of it and wipe up the tent as well as possible. There's still a slight stain there. They are certainly adaptable.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17380216351005921687noreply@blogger.com
